Elliptical trainers have been on the market for a few years now and people who want a good impact free cardio workout prefer these machines to the standard treadmills. Sole is one of the newer companies to make Elliptical trainers but quickly began getting consumers attention for their quality products at reasonable prices. Many hotel chains such as Hilton use these machines in their exercise rooms.

The Sole e55 and Sole e95 Elliptical trainers are the top of the line in trainers designed and made by sole and considered to be their best trainers yet.

The sole e 55 elliptical trainer is a heavy duty cross trainer that has a 20" stride, adjustable foot pedals for comfort and to reduce stress on the ankle and Achilles tendon. It comes with a wireless heart monitor and grip pulse monitor. It has 16 resistance levels and 10 workout programs to help get and keep you in shape.

Other features included in the sole e55 are the LCD display monitor, a fan to keep you cool during workouts and attached speakers with a plug in for your M3P or Ipod.

It comes with a lifetime warranty on the frame, 5 year warranty on the parts and 2 year warranty on labor. This warranty is one of the best product warranties available for any trainer on the market today.

The major disadvantage of this trainer seems to be a poorly sewn chest strap for the heart monitor.

Customer reviews show an overwhelming favorable impression of this trainer, with very few exceptions. Most consumers like the quietness, durability and low price of the Sole e55. This trainer is priced well below other comparable models at $1500.

The sole e95 is the club level trainer. Priced at $2000, it is about half the price of other comparable cross trainers. It has all the features of the Sole e55, with a few improvements. It has a 400 pound weight capacity which makes it a great choice for larger people who want to start a good exercise program to lose weight or improve their health. It also has more programs to choose from than does the e55.

There are a couple of disadvantages to this trainer. Consumers state that the light resistance is somewhat higher than on other machines and takes some getting used to and that the heart monitor may not be as accurate as it should be.

Overall consumers who have purchased this product seem to be well pleased with it. Most like the smooth movement, the no impact workout and the fact that this machine is stable and as good as those found in most gyms.
To get the best use out of these trainers they should be used on a regular basis, increasing resistance as you become more in shape. Working out for 30 minutes at a time is optimal, for those seriously out of shape begin with 10 minute workouts and slowly increase as your stamina improves.

While either the e55 or e95 elliptical trainer would be a good choice for those seriously wanting to get fit at home the e95 would be the better choice for those weighing over 350 pounds.
