Walking for 30 min. can burn around 115 or so calories.
Walk uphill for 13 minutes (100 calories). Run a five - minute mile. (You'll have burned 100 by 4 ½ minutes) Other ways to burn 100 calories
References :
It all depends on your incline (if any), and the speed your going. You should also keep your BPM (beats per minute) at the same rate for about 20 minutes this will help the calories burn faster. Maybe you should get a pedometer too. As for your last question you are 5 feet and 120...I don't think you need to lose any weight, check out your BMI and if it's in a healthy zone don't focus on losing weight just focus on maintaining it. Good Luck!
References :
http://www.nutrition.com.sg/ha/habmi.asp

you will have to lose a online calculator it also depends on your speed. How many MPH are you running at approx? You have to know that to figure anything out. Try getting a heart rate monitor so you'll at least be able to see your heart rate and see how hard you are working.
References :
Silicone Spray; it does a great job. Get it at any hardware store or Wal Mart. Just lift up the tread mill belt enough to get the spray nozzel under it and spray the rollers. No need to take it all apart. I do mine all the time.
References :
me

polydimethyl silicone, also known as silicone grease. can be found in high end kitchen supply stores, and also camera stores. it is used to coat o-rings for camera lens, among other things. If you are near the ocean, deep-sea diving supply stores should also carry it. another source is the "heat sink" grease for computer chips, although this compound uses zinc oxide, whereas the above mentioned formulas usually use silica. (either of which is more than acceptable for your use)
References :
I'm sure everyone is different and so is the intensity you use the bike and treadmill.

It is important to get your heart rate up to the range that is right for you and keep it there for at least 20 minutes.

If you are a beginner, you need to start slow. If you work out regularly, then you know what you are capable of.

You might want to mix it up a bit too, bike one day and treadmill the next. Experts say that the body gets used to your routine and you don't loose weight as well if you keep doing the same thing over and over.

Good luck!
References :
The treadmill burns more calories but it is bad for your joint and you can easily cause pain. The bike is good. Be sure you keep your heart in a fat burning zone. Most of the exercise equipment has a chart on it to tell you what heart rate you need to be at. Also at the gym they have a cycling class called Spin. This is an awsome class the instructory usually keep it pumped up with music and other excitment and they tell you how to get the best workout on the bike. You sit and stand and change the resistince. I did this three times a week and watched what I ate all summer and lost 27 pounds. I also have really good leg strenth. I like the bike much better than the treadmill.
